- Cooking Time: 20 minutes
- Serves 8
2 pounds ground beef made into 8 ounce patties
2 Backyard Farms Beefsteak Tomatoes
2 large white onions, julienned
4 ounces crumbled beer cheddar cheese
12 ounce Sea Dog Gollywobbler Brown Ale
4 hamburger buns
Whole grain mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra virgin olive oil
Preheat 2 large pans on stove. Season the burger patties with salt and pepper. Oil the pans and carefully place the burger patties into the pans. Turn the heat down to medium/high and add onions around the patties. Cook 2 minutes then carefully flip the patties, and continue to cook another 2 minutes.
Stir onions and add enough beer to just cover the patties. Cook for 2 minutes and add cheese to the patties. When cheese is melted, remove patties and place on buns. Spread with mustard and top with onions. Adjust cooking times for desired temperatures.
