3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil plus extra for greasing the pan

2 cloves garlic, minced
One store bought package pizza dough (18.5 ounces), at room temperature
1 cup grated Pecorino or Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup fresh basil leave, torn into pieces
This super easy dish makes a satisfying meal out of my go-to tomato salad dressing. Backyard Farms cocktail tomatoes are just the right size and have the year-round flavor to make this simple pizza your family's new favorite!

Place the tomatoes in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of the olive oil, salt, oregano and garlic. Toss gently and set aside for about 15 minutes to marinate.
Lightly grease a rimmed baking sheet with olive oil. Spread the pizza dough in the pan with your hands to fit the pan. Or use a rolling pin to roll out the dough.
Arrange the tomatoes evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the tomatoes. Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil over the tomatoes. Set aside.
Preheat the oven to 450F
Bake the pizza on the bottom rack for 30 to 32 minutes or until the crust is nicely browned and the tomatoes have shriveled a bit
Remove from the oven. Sprinkle the basil leaves over the top. Cut into squares with kitchen scissors to serve.
