Member of the Eastern Produce Council (EPC) who’s ongoing work supports networking and education of the produce industry.

Members of International Association of Food Protection (IAFP), a non-profit association of food safety professionals in which members are able to keep informed of the latest scientific technical and practical developments in food safety and sanitation. IAFP’s mission is to provide food safety professionals worldwide with a forum to exchange information on protecting the food supply.

Backyard Farms is certified to USDA GAP and United Fresh Produce GAP Harmonization Initiative standards, an auditing initiative for pre- and post-harvest operations to ensure that all fresh produce commodities are following Good Agricultural Practices standards for food safety.
