Our Little Piece of Paradise.
Because we grow our plants in a greenhouse, we use land very efficiently. If we were to grow the same quantity of tomatoes in open fields, we would require well over 10 times the acreage – and would only have tomatoes available for a limited time each summer. Our tomatoes grow on slabs of rockwool and are fed directly at the roots with water. Rockwool is a horticultural growing media made from the natural ingredients basalt rock and chalk.
