A Taste of Summer from Head Chef Mary Ann Esposito

Head Chef Mary Ann Esposito created a bunch of new recipes using our tomatoes that bring back the sweet taste of summer!

Cocktail Scoops

Here’s a party pleaser that’s fun to make! The Cocktail Scoops are a tasty, nutritious bite of summer the whole family will love.

You’ll only need a few ingredients to make the scoops: Cocktail Tomatoes, cream cheese, yogurt, honey, thyme, pistachios and salt.

Fresh Cocktail Tomato Sauce

Once you make this fresh no-cook tomato sauce, you may never go back to a jarred sauce ever again.

The Cocktail Tomatoes add a subtle, sweet taste that we love in a homemade sauce. Add the fresh tomatoes to some parsley, garlic, EVOO, white wine vinegar, basil, salt and sugar and let marinate.

In just a few hours, you’ll have a fresh homemade pasta sauce that’ll complement dozens of delicious dishes. Check out the full recipe!

Summer Tomato Cobb Salad

We think you’ll enjoy eating the salad bowl just as much as the salad itself: A big, juicy tomato holding a Summer Cobb Salad.

Run to the grocery store and grab some Beefsteak or Somerset Pink Tomatoes, fresh greens, bacon, chicken breast, pasta and a few more simple items. Mary Ann also created a special dressing to put the finishing touches on a delicious summer salad – grab those ingredients at the store, too!

Here’s the tasty recipe for both the dressing and salad.

A big thank you to Mary Ann for creating these recipes with our fresh, summer tasting tomatoes.
