Backyard Farms Greenhouse

We like to think of our greenhouse as one big backyard garden. Forty-two acres of garden, to be exact. Our spacious facility allows us to grow lots of tomatoes year-round. No off-season. Just the same delicious tomatoes every single month of the year.

In Step With Mother Nature

Because we grow our tomatoes in a greenhouse, we’re able to mitigate the extremes nature throws at us. During the day we use natural sunlight. When the sun isn’t shining, we use automated grow lamps so our tomatoes receive the right amount of light. By providing our tomatoes with consistent light, we can give you the same delicious high-quality tomatoes all year long.

Respecting what nature has taught us about growing the best tomatoes is a huge piece of the tomato puzzle. So we integrate beneficial insects into our greenhouse to create the most natural, healthy environment for our plants. This includes our 48,000 busy bumblebees. They’re in charge of plant pollination and are happily paid with an endless supply of tomato blossom nectar.

Our personal gardeners tend to your tomatoes the whole way through. In short, they’re the ones you can thank for your great-tasting tomatoes. Each gardener looks after 10 rows of plants and gives them the love and attention they deserve.
